Gifts

by Neil Phillips on January 25, 2010

A thought before you start your week:

“The greatest gift is a portion of thyself.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Who will you gift without spending money?

How will you give when you “don’t have the time?”

What will you give that lets the receiver claim as uniquely you?

The best gift anyone can give is the gift of good health. Cook a healthy meal and you are giving a gift to yourself and your family. Thanks for the inspiration for the week.

That’s a great idea. The effort that you put in cooking is certainly a gift of yourself and the healthy meal is a bonus! When we first got started in direct sales, Dana got pneumonia and spent 10 days in the hospital. There I was with five children under 10, my full time work at the university, and the Christmas holidays approaching. Nothing was more welcome than the home cooked meals probided by different families from our church. When my children talk about memories (and the youngest is now 26), someone still mentions all of the Christmas cookies that came with the meals!
